Attributes:  Deciduous, Yellow flowers with darker purple-brown veining.  Strap like grayish green foliage.
Notes: In the wild Iris forrestii grows in moist mountainous forests and hillsides of Myanmar, China; Sichuan and Yunnan provinces.  In the garden I. forrestii grows in similar conditions as Iris siberica.
